CHAPTER - 2 | Timeline: Jun 2019 - Present
I’ve completed my summer internship with the Advance Risk and Compliance Analytics (DRS) Team at PwC, Bay Area Office. I’m really excited to explore this new opportunity in the Golden City by the Bay.
I’ve interned from June through August - 2019. In this time, I’ve got the opportunity to work closely with 6 clients in assessing their compliance, financial, operational, IT and strategic risks.
Once the risks were identified, software controls were implemented with an aim of keeping the risk mitigation rate over 90% using PwC's product portfolio.
Oracle Advanced Access Control Project - Product Implementation
Our team worked with an American publicly traded consumer retail company in implementing Oracle Advanced Access Controls for their systems.
I was part of the team in gathering the business requirements and defining and adjusting the scope of the project based on those requirements.
Once the requirements are gathered and scope is defined, I’ve planned the project roadmap for the product implementation with an aim of achieving risk mitigation rate of over 92%.
We have deployed pre-built SoD (Segregation of Duties) controls and allowed the rest of the controls to be custom-built by the client based on their future needs.
